My bulb blew out last week (many hours) and I replaced the bulb without issue, however, when I turn the projector on, it fails with "The Fans are not working" error (Power-Red, Temp-Green, Lamp-Off).
I checked the fans and all three are on. I did not see more than 3.

Any ideas?
Any help will be appreciated.

It seems the BenQ W1070 has four fans.
The error code indicates the fan is running at +/- 25% normal speed.
The LEDs will tell you which fan is producing the error:

Power Temp Lamp
Sol Red Sol Red - Fan 1
Sol Red Flash Red - Fan 2
Sol Red Sol Green - Fan 3
Sol Red Flash Green - Fan 4

Fan 1 - Lamp Fan
Fan 2 - Power Fan
Fan 3 - Blower Fan
Fan 4 - Inlet Fan

Hi,
recently i bought new benq w1070 from amazon.com
i too got the same "temperature error"
solid red and solid green - fan 3
the first product which i got run for few min and the temp error (fan 3) came
so i asked for a replacement
in the second product also after running for few min, the same temp error picks up and projector shuts down automatically.

I have an doubt regarding working voltage & frequency limit
In India its 240V and 50hz. In Benq manual its said that 100-240V and 50-60Hz. does this affect in any way?!!

what should i do now?
the problem is local service center(India) people says that it does not cover warranty since its an imported product
1) should i return this product also
2) or should i check the product on my own expenses

kindly suggest me how to rectify this problem??

Return it to Amazon for a refund and buy it elsewhere. It sounds like they have either shipped you back the same on you returned or one somebody else returned. Best to go to a different supplier at this point.
