If you've received bad service, that falls on your dealer's shoulders - not Berkline. But if you bought them direct from Berkline (do they do that?) then that's a different story.

There are lots of great Berkline dealers here who give amazing customer service, and there are lots of people besides me who will tell you that. Unfortunately for you, it sounds like you didn't buy from one of them.

Good luck though - I hope you get it straightened out eventually. That's an expensive purchase to have made only to have it leave a bad taste in you mouth. :(

All you should have to do is contact a Berkline authorized dealer that has a repair guy. Most all of the work would fall under the warranty. Berkline will reimburse whomever does the warranty work. Call around to some local dealers in your area or ask Berkline who does warranty work in that area.

I would say to ignore the posts. As HDTVFan pointed out the guy only has 2 posts and he used them to post the same complaint in two forums. He hasn't responded to questions and he bought the chairs last June and is just now posting a problem? It sounds like he is looking for an audience, not help with his problem. Berklines are great chairs and pretty much recognized as industry standards.

True Doyles. The are good chairs. I used to be in the furniture business, and know the Berkline Rep personally. I can't help but wonder the other side of the story. What is tjmccabe78 not telling us? Berkline willingly takes care of their dealers all the time. If he had bought them at my store, I would pick up the chairs and delivery him new ones all free of charge. Of course I would get some form of compensation from Berkline.

My neighbor just got (6) 099's delivered yesterday. He's thrilled - all color consistent.

I have my (6) 090's for over a year - all color consistent.

My friend a mile away has (5) 090's - all color consistent.

This loser sounds like a sour-grapes guy who got may gotten some seats delivered with a different dye lot, and apparently wasn't awake, sober, or paying attention to notice for over 6 months. He's obviously trying to blame it on everyone but himself and vent.

Don't expect this "new poster" back.

Or maybe he had been trying to get the problem fixed for the last six months?

Maybe he wasn't there when the seats arrived. Possibly a son or daughter or wife that didn't know what to look for signed for the seats?

Maybe the guy really is a loser as was so eloquently put forward. Still, without knowing the whole situation all we have is conjecture...
