Berklines and Storage

I have a 15' by 23" HT room with an 8" riser separating the 2 rows of 3 seats each of Berklines (haven't ordered the chairs yet).


The riser is about 118" wide ... and I was considering going with the Berline 990 chairs.. which come across 117.5" in the 3 seat configuration. The riser is also 6.5 feet deep.. so there would be room in between the two rows even with full recline.


The problem I'm having is where do I place my universal remote, wireless keyboard, and PS consoles? I know Berkline has the compartments for storage and the mini table that comes across your lap. My wife isn't really hot on those particular models however. She likes the look of the 990's (they have more of a traditional look). Is there another option?


I was thinking about having only two Berkline chairs in the front row (still have 3 in the back) and placing an end table in the middle of the front two chairs. That will give me somewhere to place the items .... but then the two chairs will be slightly off center from screen (with the three seat option the middle chair has optimal viewing).


I could still have the 2 rows of 3 chairs and just put a table of some sort in front of the middle front chair. Would that be an obstruction on my sound (obviously my ears are above the height of the table)?

First, let me correct you - the width of 3 Berkline 090 recliners is 105" in straght and 112" in curved configuration (not 117.5")


Second, you can go with the Game console 024-08, which will be able to accommodate your accessories.

I'm looking at the 990 model, not the 090. The 990 has a traditional look of a chair vs some of the other Berklines. I believe it is 117.5" wide on a 3 seat curved configuration.


I do like your game console 024-08 suggestion. Does that work with any of the Berkline chairs? If so, that might be a winner

Oops - my bad - sorry - you are correct.


Yes, the 024-08 can be used with 990-53 and 990-52 pieces.

Anybody have the Berkline Game Console 024-08? Its just what I need but I myself have never sat in them. Are they comfortable chairs? Can I get them in any other color? I emailed rtheaters.com this morning from my personal email account but now I'm at work with no access to personal accounts.

The 024-08 console is a gaming console and it is a separate piece, which on the picture is shown with two Berkline 090 recliners (one left arm and one right arm only). You can use the console with any of the Berkline recliners in any fabric/leather/vinyl combo or all leather covers – so your selection is quite large.

Thanks Roman for replying. At the moment I don't access to personal email from work.


So from what I understand is the gaming console is actually the center part between the two chairs. Does the gaming console come in different colors? I like the center piece but then I also like the idea of having a three seats instead of two with the gaming console. Looks like the BERKLINE 078 you have on special is a good deal.

Yes the gaming console can be ordered in any cover - fabric, leather/vinyl combo or all leather in any color Berkline offers. The 078s are in group 3 leather/vinyl combo 7061-29 BLACK. The console can be ordered in matching leather/vinyl combo.


You can also do 4 seats in configuration IOIOHOIOI where "H" is a console.
