ok so my budget is anywhere around $500-$1000 and i was wondering if there are any good quality 3D 1080p led lcd or lcd or plasma tv's out there. I know already about the 50 inch from samsung but its only 720p. Ill be using it for gaming/xbox 360 blu ray movies and tv. i know this is alot to ask considering budget but im sure there's something out there on sale. If you guys find anything let me know.

You won't find a 1080p 3D for anywhere near your budget unfortunately. If gaming is gonna be your big thing then the 720p should be fine.

XVT3D424SV 42" Vizio LED 3D 1080p 480Hz SPS HDTV? I know its probably above parents budget range (Trying to get them to purchase the family/me a new tv for Christmas I might even try for the 55" Inch. Any reviews would be helpful

He can get a 1080p DLP for that budget. It doesn't do 1080p 3D, but it does with everything else. Many people claim 3D looks better on DLPs at that (I think it looks great on DLP, but I can't comment on a comparison).

Is TruLED really that much better than Razor? On sams it says the "55 cost about $2000 and the "42 cost around a $1000 does the "42 have TruLED>?
