Best 32" LCD TV

2657 Views 8 Replies 5 Participants Last post by  romivd
Hi everyone, I'm going to buy a 32 LCD TV for dvd movies/HDTV mainly.

The ones available on the market are:

- LG LG30R (HDMI x 2 / HD 1366X768 / Contrast 50000:1)

- Panasonic TC32LX80LA (HDMI x 2 / HD 1366X768 / Contrast 10000:1)

- Samsung LN32A450 (HDMI x 3 / HD 1366X768 / 6ms)

- Sony Bravia KLV-32M400 (HDMI x 2 / HD 1366X768 / Contrast 9000:1)

- Philips PFL-5403 (HDMI x 2 / HD 1366X768 / 8ms / Contrast 26000:1)

Could you please tell me which one should I choose, or if you have had any of these you experiences with it?

Thanks in advance

PS: I'm not looking for prices, just opinions about those models.

I'm confused. You asked our opinion on the Best 32" LCD TV and then you listed those models. None of those would be even close to the Best 32" models. I'm not sure where you are seeing these but some, if not all of them, are 2008 models. I'd like more information, but of the ones you listed, I'd pick the Samsung.
yeah i was going to say the same thing....these are not anywhere near the top 32" models...or were you asking out of the bunch? out of those i would say the samsung...are you going strictly on size 32" and willing to spend whatever or do you have a budget? If so what is the amount of money you're willing to spend?
^^ +1

Let me help out here

OP -------------------------- Suggestion

- LG LG30R ------------------ 32LH20 or 32LH30

- Panasonic TC32LX80LA ----- TC-32X1 or TC-L32S1

- Samsung LN32A450 --------- LN32B460 or LN32B650 (or B640)

- Sony Bravia KLV-32M400 ---- KDL-32L5000 or KDL-32XBR9

- Philips PFL-5403 ------------- ???????????????????????????

Unfortunately I live in Argentina and there is no 2009 models yet...
furthermore, price range for the models I've selected is 1000 US dolars so I´m dealing with poor tech/high prices. Although I'd love a 40" I cannot afford one since the price range for those models is 2000 US dolars

That's why I've put that list looking for your help.

from the given choices i will go for Samsung LN32A450

because The LN32A450C1D has a 32" display which features sharp, realistic imagery combined with SRS Tru-Surround XT to bring your movies and HD programming to life.

The PC input allows this display to double as a 32" computer monitor.
