Best 40" to 42" LCD TV for Gaming ?

I did a search and dug up this old thread from 2007.

Since it is now almost 3 years old I thought I would ask the experts on this forum for some updated feedback.

I am in the market for two 40" to 42" LCD TVs for my teenage kids bedrooms.

They will be mostly used for gaming (xbox 360 and Wii). The other video sources are Direct TV and Kaleidescape Server. All conected via HDMI.

I would like at least 3 HDMI ports and 1 SVGA.

The most import thing I must have on these TVs is serial control. As we have a Crestron system and I wan't the kids to be able to control and turn them on/off via Crestron e-Control on their PCs and on their iPhones using the Crestron App.

Your input and advice would be greatly appreciated.

see the thread in my sig for info on input lag and how it relates to gaming as well as TV's that have been tested

good luck finding a TV with a serial port. that will make things pretty difficult and limited in your choices i'm sure
