Best 42" Plasma With Matte Black Frame??

Long time – not been around much. About 18 months ago I signed on and, after a few weeks of research and questions, purchased a Pioneer 503cmx for the ‘theater’ room where we watch DVDs. Folks on this forum were instrumental in our selection at the time (for which Mrs. Fizbin and I are very grateful) and we anticipate that this may be the case once again.


With the hopefully soon-to-be-available HD-TiVo we are in the research phase for a second plasma, a 42 (or so) incher this time. The basic requirements are that it have great picture quality, both in HD and SD, and a matte black frame – no silver or high-gloss Pioneer Elite black frames allowed. Price counts (no way-out-of-line Runco) but is not the primary consideration.


With those things in mind, what are our best options?? As always, thanks for the info . . .
