I would have to concur with Mazur above - in that price range you'd be hard pressed to find anything better and with the reviews hard to beat also to support it. About the only 5.1 sound I've seen priced lower are PC systems which cannot match this system IMO. I did not have such a budget so mine runs about triple that with my Polk Lsi Center Channel added in but if I had such a limit I'd be grabbing that pkg.

Boy, $200 to $400 isn't much.....but I'd try something from Yamaha, only because they seem to make soon decent inexpensive speakers.....Sony next in line, good luck .

I too would spring for the Velodyne CHT speakers and VX-10 sub in the under $400 price range.

Funny that the Velo from 6ave says "in stock" but ships in 5-7 days. Something doesn't seem quite right.

athena maybe? that price range seems to be what they focus on actually with regular and slimline lifestyle typespeakers in that price range
