Hey Guys,

I wanted to see if those in the know could point me to some good remotes for around $100 (the less expensive, the better) that have macroing capability.

My goal is to have something that's not intimidating for my non-tech saavy wife to accept and use with our about to be upgraded HT setup.

Thanks!

I bought a new Harmony 688 remote on ebay for 107.00 and it works great. Even my wife can use it, and better yet, her Dad was even able to use it when they visited last week.

Can't get much easier than pushing the Watch TV button, or the Watch A Movie button. The off button is pretty easy to use too.

The other thing I like about it is that when you go from watching tv to watching a movie it shuts off the equipment not being used for watching a movie.

A 688 for $107. That's a sweet deal. I just read the manual on that remote, it sounds perfect for what I want. Where did you get it?

Nevermind. It's so wierd how you can read right over a word...DOH!

What about the URC-100 or 200 remotes? Anybody have experience with either of these? I bought a Harmony SST-659, but could not get the setup program to work, so I took it back. (And yes, I am computer literate, just in case you were wondering:p ) It seems like either the software or the website is a bit buggy.
