So far, my experience with TDK has been good. Clean discs, no coasters. But I would recommend that anyone buying a large spindle do a spot check of the discs on the bottom, for any defects, either visible or invisible (do your first burns from these). My paranoia tells me that all the big manufacturers put the marginal stuff on the bottom, and when you find these, it is too late to return the spindle to the store.
Right now, you can get the same price in Best Buy retail stores (normally $190, but save $20 with in-store rebate). Of course, you have to pay sales tax either way if you are "lucky" enough to have Best Buy stores in your state.
