I know some family members who is getting a new computer, and I just happened to come across this little gem:

It's not a computer speaker system, but this looks much more elaborate for the same price as some brands of computer speakers. It's pretty basic surround sound and definitely not audiophile - but wow, this might just make a nice desktop computer speaker system. Do you think that this system would sound better than other $40 ordinary computer speakers?
Do you think I should steer my family members to buy this sound kit instead of plain old computer speakers costing the same price?
