trying to achieve the optimal results for my system, and any input would be appreciated. I have a panasonic 65 inch hdtv and the panny hdstb with a panny rp91 dvd. I've been having problems with the dvd and am going to take it back but have been given options for the replacement. For example the elite 37 or 47? A denon 3800 or 4800? Another panny? I want the best picture quality I can get, we watch dvd and satellite. Should I get an Iscan doubler or scaler or something different? I hook to the tv through the component video and the satellite hdnet channel is the most incredible picture I have seen. Any input would be appreciated. thanks

You don't mention what "problems" you're having with your DVD player. Have you tried another set of cables, or perhaps a firmware upgrade? The RP91 should be far superior than an interlaced player plus IScan combo.
