I need a hand.


Want a flat screen for my boat, but have only an area around 30" wide X26" high and 10 " deep to place i on top of a component cabinet.


I'll use only w/progressive scan DVD's and D* via "s" inputs.


I assume LCD is the option, but which 22"- 27" model will give me the most bang for around $1500?

Check out walmart.com . I just saw they have a 30" Tatung LCD with HD res. for just a tad more than your budget. It may be too big for the cabinet you described though. Now that I look at it, it's 36" wide. Maybe you can somehow make it work.

Amazon sells a 22" LCD by Real Digital. It has lower res. I actually had one of these, but returned it to Amazon because the US distributor (in City of Commerce, CA - I mention that because of your location) was blowing me off on my rebate. The TV was good, just a little small for my bedroom. I'll probably go with the 30".
