I want a cheap 5.1 setup for an Onkyo SR606.

I have a pair of Infinity reference 2000.1 bookshelf speakers that I can use for rear (are they any good?)

Any ideas for front 3? (sub?)

Room is about 25x25 and speaker size is not an issue.

I also have another thread going for a complete 5.1 setup...trying to decide which route to go.

Thanks!

I'd like the same info. I only have room for a 3.1 setup, and already have a reciever and sub. Need LR and center. Floor standing for the LR and a center small enough to fit in front of my samsung LCD.

Go with two towers and forget about the small center. Just set your system up in Phantom Mode where the main speakers do the job of the center channel too.

For $300 you can get a pair of Infinity Primus 362, Energy C-300 or Athena LS300 or LS500 towers. Polk Monitor 50's or 60's should be in that price range too.
