I have just sold the last of my old home theater speakers and am looking to completely rebuild my 5.1 set up. I am of course going to start with a pair of towers. I had av123 Rocket RS-450's before so I want to upgrade to something even better. They were a GREAT set of towers so the next set will have some big shoes to fill. I will be mating the speakers I buy with an Integra 7.8 AVR using an Emotiva XPA-200 amp. So 300 watts of clean power times two into an 8ohm load or 500 into a 4ohm load. I want a tower that can play full range, down to at least 33-35hz, something that is dyanamic and can be pushed hard and play loud without distortion or strain. A huge soundstage with very precise imaging. I would say the use would be 60% movies and shows 40% music. And when listening to music, I do not use a sub, unless it is some serious bass heavy hip hop or dub step.

Here are some that I have already considered.

Never heard them, but Anthony Gallo Classico CL-3 fit the bill spec wise.
