Can anyone help, what would be the best grapics card / mpeg decoder to put in a htpc. already have a siluro t 400 which i cant for the life of me get to output to the tv. I just want good clean s-video to tv. and hopefully something that will output dvd automaticly........ any theroies

If all you want is great DVD playback out s-video, try a Realmagic Hollywood+ or the new X-card (I think that is what is called). Or you could just buy a DVD player.

Why would you suggest the Radeon 9500 Pro and not the 9700 Pro instead???

thanks after some ups and down and 4 visits to pc world i am now taking the radeon back its a 8500le the s video is crap why they even bothered putting one on the card is unknown if that picture is what they can retail then maybe i should put a curcuit in a box and sell it as an s video grah card it wont work but neither does the radeon....thanks anway i shallbe ordering a realmagic job
