Hi All,
I am looking for a new receiver. I do need it to process HDMI, however, none of the added features of HDMI 1.4 apply to me/will apply to me in the near future. I am hoping that you guy's can point me to a screaming deal on a previous year's model that happens to be stuck with HDMI 1.3. Refurbished is OK but it must have a reasonable warranty. If I can't find a great deal on an older model I will probably go with something like the Pioneer 1020 or Onkyo 608 for futureproofing/resale value.
Please do not suggest anything that cannot be found for $375 including shipping. In fact i'm hoping to get away with spending 300-350 shipped.
Priorities: Music 70%/ Movies 30%
Must Be/Have:
Under $375 including shipping.
HDMI 1.3 (at least)
DD TrueHD/DTS Master Audio
At least a 90-day warranty
Options that would be nice but not mandatory:
Pre-outs
streaming music from PC/internet radio
1-year warranty
Features that do not matter much to me:
THX-cert.
