Welcome to the forum. Based on your zip code your tvfool report looks like this:
http://www.tvfool.com/?option=com_wr...27ee0bcba99a85

The results would be more accurate if you went to tvfool.com and entered your exact address; the exact address will not show in the results.

Since you are not yet able to post a link, just give us the part of the URL that is in bold type near the top of the report after com/.

The signals are quite strong in your area, but how well your indoor antenna performs will depend upon the building construction and if you have a window facing the transmitting towers at about 183 degrees. You should first try an unamplified rabbit ears and loop combo indoor antenna like the Radio Shack 15-1874:

Try different locations for the antenna for best results.

What equipment are you using for reception?

thanks so much for the suggestion. I will try it today. Boulder is tricky b/c we are in a valley so it's not a straight shot to Denver even those signals are strong they have to get through some hills.

Cheers!

Yes, the terrain and proximity to the mountains might make it difficult to get the major networks broadcasting from lookout mountain. I tested an indoor Terk HDTVa antenna at my parent's house in Boulder, who are located directly north of a large hill, and was only able tot get stations broadcasting from Longmont.

I'd experiment and see if you can get decent reception. You also might want to check the Denver OTA thread for additional advice.

Indoor antennas are very dificult to recomend or perdict. There are variables at play that will effect an indoor antennas perfomance. You have house wiring, window placment, reflected signal within the house, siding, roof, neighboring houses and a host of other problems. The best possible solution would be an outdoor antenna. If you have an attic with room to spare and don't have a metal roof, you could trty an outdoor antenna in your attic. A channel Master cm-2018 would be a good fit in your area if you can fit it in your attic.
