I know only the audio matters but my vote for coolest looking amp goes to the Classe Omega Mono or the Mark Levinson N53 Mono. The Mac MC501 looks cool too but I'm digging the vertical amps. What are some other amazing looking amps?

Personally I'd like to do away with amps all together. They take up too much space.

The Theta Digital Dreadnaught is a very beautiful amp, especially in silver and especially if you can display it to reveal the artfully designed top cover. Theta also makes some great looking vertical mono amps, the Enterprise and Citadel. SimAudio's Titan and Aurora multichannel amps are also very sharp looking, IMO.

I also like amps with meters on, so anything by McIntosh looks great

I had an AC1 and AP3 over 20 years ago.

I remember bringing them back to Australia (bought them while on holiday in England).

I had the AP3 (round cylinder) in my hand luggage.

Going thru customs in Amsterdam they saw it and took it out.

They had no idea what it was and they did not understand english too well.

Eventualy they took it off me to show the pilot so he could give approval to take it on the plane.

Whilst on the plane, the teenage girl and her mum who were sitting behind me recognised me from the above discussion with the airport staff.

We got to speaking and I told them what the item was.

They told me that when they saw me, they thought 'Oh my god, the man with the bomb is on our plane'
