I just got my new AE500, which DVDP is you recommand ?

My target is Mosumi v.880; Bravo D1, Samsung HD-938.....

i had an ae500 and a d1. pq was great. i am sure the v880 would be the same. but question with these players in not pq but simply if they would work properly or not. my d1 did. but i just replaced it with a pioneer dv59 mainly because of audio reason not video.

I'm using a Momitsu V880 @ 720p w/my Panny AE500. Wonderful picture quality via DVI.

I have been reading lots of post regarding V.880. Heard someone has change their DVDROM, upgrade firmware, tune on different setting.......


If I decided to go for this DVP, which setting should I change ?

and may I ask what's your setting in AE500 ?

My V880 does act a little funky sometimes, but mostly it has worked fine. I haven't changed the loader or done any hardware mods. I just make sure it has the latest firmware as it's released. My AE500 is set to AI-2 mode & Normal picture.
