Best paint for Hi gain on blackout fabric w/ LT150

I am currently using the white glossy Tile Board from Home Depot and like the results but would like to try building a DIY screen from blackout fabric from JoAnns that I already have.


I compared the natural blackout fabric to the Tile Board and was surprised that the Tile Board was so much better - brighter due to the higher gain of the Tileboard finish. So I am looking for a paint with high gain that will be hopefully somewhat close to the results of the Tile Board.


I have seen some of you mention blackout fabric from a place called Hancock. How does the color (white or greyish) and gain compare between the Hancock and JoAnn fabric. Am I just better off using the Hancock natural or painting what I have.


Also, what is the best method for applying the paint and how much do I need to cover the (quart or gallon).
