Best price for 60" Samsung 5300?

I know the plasma chapter is ending and the crunch is on to find these sets still, but anyone recently purchased one or seen them in person lately?

My local best buy has two new unopened sets for 799.99 and an open box for 719.99

I'm guessing with the open box I could get them down to 650 or so. I am more hesitant to buy a plasma open box than I would be LED.

Thoughts? I'm going to go in and check on the condition of the open box one.

Best Buy's website has it on sale for $749.99.

I just saw that too. The open box savings of $30 isn't that great, though I could most likely get the price down. I could also get a movers coupon for the NIB one and bring it down to 675.
You should be able to get them down to $699 for open box. Had mine for a week now, love it.

S5 tap'n
They are gonna be gone sooner than later. Just grab a new one with the movers coupon.
Fair enough, I just got another movers so I'll head in tomorrow.

Nice that there's two, in case one is no go out of the box I have another option.
Walmart.com still wants $948 plus $130 shipping to the home; free store pickup.

Even though I was not going to order one, I could not get to "Checkout."
Picked up the last NIB 60f5300 at my local HH Gregg yesterday, the website showed a price of $799, but the price at the store said $699. When scanned the price came up $799, manager adjusted price back to $699. I wish I'd been earlier to the game and caught an 8500, but glad to have picked this one up before they're all gone.

Congrats!

I picked one up from HH Gregg as well a couple weeks ago. About to replace the old CRT rear projection. Have it sitting on the floor in front of it and I have to say the CRTs are quite capable. Would be nice if the tubes weren't shot :/

I did a good once over for the picture settings if you are interested. Got it comparable to the CRT so its a pretty nice picture.

Oh, and if you are purchasing through HH Gregg, use the subscriber coupon online for another 10% off. They also had 2 different LG models in stock.
I wasn't aware of a subscriber coupon, might've been a little tough to use with the price discrepancy anyway.

I just started running the burn in slides this afternoon, I'll be looking to adjust settings next week once the slides are through. I've been looking for any pink hue, haven't noticed any during the white slides, I assume they would be noticeable there. Have you seen any? Also, I don't hear any buzzing at all.

Congrats on your purchase.
