OK, we covered the reference CD player before and I will demo what was mentioned. But, what about the best changer? I realize there isn't a true great changer (that's why I'm shopping for a reference single player) but I know some great ones are out there.

What do own or like out there for a changer?

I'm looking at:

Pioneer Elite PDF-27

Sony ES

Denon DCM-5000

The specs on the playback side of the Pioneer look very close to the Denon with the exception of HDCD (which I most likely will never use). I of course want to have DTS playback which is just with a coax digital output which most all have now. The Denon is a little expensive for a changer and only holds 100 CDs which are the drawbacks for that unit. What models do you like or have?

Adcom's GCD-700 is also well known for sounding great. Mine has been going for 5+ years now with no mechanical problems, and tho I'm not using the wonderful Burr-Brown DACs in it anymore(running direct into the Sony 9000ES with coax now), it still functions as a top notch transport. New price on em is about $650 or so if I remember right.
