just wondering what everyone would recommended here the equipment i need to control are the following.

Panasonic dmp 55,

Toshiba -hdax2,

denon 3808ci,

Samsung 52a850,

Bright house hd-dvr,

pioneer cld-504 laser disk player,

and a oppo 981hd.

Even the top tier pro only remotes are trying to catch up the Pronto's feature set.

Of course no matter what you're told. It will always be subject to opinion. ...and I stuck to only remotes in my suggestions.

Also check out the URC MX-6000 and RTI T4 (a little over your budget, but has capabilities similar to the URC).
