best remote that is closest to dish network remote

What is the best remote that has the closest button/function of the dish network remotes. I would like something in the same form with similar button placement as far as the cursor /ok style and various other volume, channel buttons.

I am curious as well. I am a heavy dish network tv user. Here are the main buttons I use:

DPAD directional buttons

OK/ENTER

MENU

GUIDE

PAGE UP

PAGE DOWN

NUMERIC 0 - 9

INFO

MUTE

I really want a 2 way remote with all these features. 2 way (meaning I can get things like show/guide metadata from a server)

I picked up a universal wr7. I'll let you know how it works.. It kind of looked like it had all the same buttons the dish remote had and supposedly you can program or teach any button to do each function for each device.. so it would seem that it might take hours of programming but you should get it to do whatever you need it to do.

still not sure what you mean by 2 way or metadata from a server

I am a long-time Dish viewer. I currently have two 622 Receivers.

I am a fan of the Dish Remotes - I believe that they are well laid out and intuitive and nicely sized buttons.

That said, I have all of the Dish functions listed in Post 2 in this thread (and others) such as 30 Sec Skip, DVR, etc, etc, on my Harmony 890 PRO. These buttons are not laid out is the same "form" or arrangement as the Dish remote.

It took me a day or two to get used to to the "new" physical location and I love the remote. Point of fact, when I go back to the Dish remote on my other 622 I find myself not remembering where the keys are.
