I use a Panasonic TM700 camcorder that I have been using over the past few years since the model was released, so I have lots of video.

In my basement, I have a 61" Samsung DLP 1080p60 tv, Sony PS3 Playstation (1.5 years old) and an Xbox 360.

I would like to be able to have some sort of access to the video files on my computer, which is upstairs on the first level of the house. I would like to be able to play my m2ts files without glitchs or speed issues, and would like also streaming movies from Netflix, or other providers.

What would the best way to do this, while keeping cost down to only a couple hundred $$?

I don't mind using direct cable to the router, as I have a feeling that will be my only option.

Your help and suggestions are greatly appreciated!

Dune or Popcorn hour.

Dune is the most stable. just really depends what your goals are. whether you care about HD audio, libraries, etc....
