I recently bought an Epson 3010e projector , have finished creating a dedicated room, and have reached the point of selecting a suitable screen. Did some research and have been looking in the $1000-$1500 range. One screen that caught my attention was the Lunette AcousticPro 4K series. Since the projector is known for its brightness, I was wondering whether to go with a cine white or grey screen material. Does anyone have this projector and could you offer me any suggestions on a good quality compatible screen?

The standard approach is to contact the screen manufactures and request their free sample pack of fabrics. Then hang the samples and see what works best in your environment.. It isn't perfect but it give you and idea of screen texture, sparklies, and brightness from one fabric to the next. Every room is different and there is no one screen fits all. Also no way to test it and send it back if you don't like it.. Typically if your room is light controlled, which means No light source, Black or very dark walls, ceiling and floor, then some form of white screen is what you are looking for. Gray and high contrast are helpful to combat poor room design and high gain to compensate for low light output or attempting a larger screen then the projector can really light up properly with a utility gain. If you are going with AT screen then weave visibility, and audio interference are things to consider. A color neutral screen is what you look for no matter what the type if possible.
