Does anybody have a recommendation as to what the best screen material would be for a DLP projector like the Infocus X1 or the Dell 2100MP? For example, are there any materials that seem to be effective in reducing the "rainbow" effect?

I am interested in building my own screen with some stretcher strips from dickblick, the white screen material from iweiss, and dome black duvetyne tape for the border. (This approach was suggested by someone here in the forum and seems quite reasonable.) I read somewhere that DLPs don't do as well on a white screen, and I was wondering if anyone could suggest a material (and where to buy it by the yard) that I might want to use to replace the white screen material from iweiss.

Thanks in advance,

Paul

You should get Dalite High Contrast or Video Spectra.

I don't think that any screen can reduce rainbow effect.

I don't see it at all - so I don't have problem

The rainbow effect is not going to be mitigated by screen material.
