What is the best programs and settings for getting the best Live TV quality (both HD and analog broadcasts)


I have the following:


Hauppauge HVR 2250 tuner (getting QAM clear signals and analog from cable)

ATI Radeon HD 5770 graphics card

Core i5 processor (tweaked to 3.8 Ghz)

4 GB Memory

Gigabyte GA-H57M-USB3 MB


I am using Sharky007 codec suite with his recommended settings. I also have FFVideo & FFAudio & PowerDVD 9

stick with the default decoders.


you may be able to adjust your video card settings to fine tune, but i dont have that card so i cant help.
