Best site-prices for buying Blu-Ray?

901 Views 10 Replies 11 Participants Last post by  AaronSCH
Other then Amazon, is there another site that sells Blu-Ray DVD's cheaper? Like does it pay to sign up with Netflix and then buy directly from then even with a rental plan? Do you save more in the long run going that route?

amazon is generally the cheapest.... a good place to look is www.dvdpricesearch.com

www.deepdiscount.com is another good site with free (slow) shipping.

Deep Discount is extremely slow. I would not recommend this reseller. Also, I had one order where they had a "security breach" that caused them to have to cancel all orders placed within a certain window. This made me nervous enough that I will never order from them again. For the difference in price just go with a trusted e-tailer like Amazon.
My local WalMart has had the best prices on selected BD's, but their choices are extremely limited.
i run a blu-ray resale shop in my basement ;-)

:: runs as sony charges towards my house with "sony" brand batons::

This topic comes up reg. Go to advance search, title search only. Use price, best, shopping or shop for prev. discussions on the topic
buy.com

Do the google checkout $10 off savings, free shipping trick and you can get BD movies for $17 to 19 bucks.
buy.com is good, you can keep registering diff email addresses to get the $10 google discount
Most catalog titles through Warner Home video are just $15.96 when the WBWEL code is used and shipping if free on orders of at least $60 before the discount is applied. Some areas of the country have to pay tax but it is still works out a little cheaper than Amazon.
