Title says it all. Need SPDIF for DD5.1 and DTS. Must be compatable with new DVD audio as well.

Let me know what you think.

PIII 700 Intel

ASUS motherboard

Asus GForce 256 video

128 Meg PC133 SDRam

Win DVD

Win98 SE

Toshiba DVD drive

Need to be able to play all sound and video DVD's in DTS and DD5.1. I'm having problems with my Diamond MX400 handling DTS Productions Audio DVD's. Everything else work fine right now, but I believe that a better audio card is in order.

Also need an SPDIF connector on the audio card that connects to a Denon receiver.

Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Are you hooking it up to a receiver or to some computer speakers? If you are looking to hook it up directly to the receiver via coaxial or digital outs, I would look at the Game Theater XP from Hercules. It also has 4 USB ports and a standard game port on the front. It also allows for 6.1 audio and comes with PowerDVD 3.0.

SPDIF will go from Sound Card to the Denon Receiver either via coax or optical. Receiver will handle decoding chores.
