Best sounding wireless headphones for music and movies...?

Hi,

Looking for the best sounding wireless headphones for music and movies.

I don't need them to be noise-cancelling - as they will just be used around the home.

Budget is probably around/under $500.

Thanks!

I like my Bose QC35 and use them sometimes for TV watching even though I an use much better Sennheisers. Sometimes it's just more convenient as my TV has bluetooth. But the reality is, any wireless is going to be a compromise in quality over a wired solution. I have two different Sennheiser's and they blow away any wireless solution. have a 15 ft headphone extension cord and I can sit anywhere in my living room.

How noticeable is the lip sync lag?

It's not noticeable for the cable box or blu ray player (oppo). It is noticeable for using the netflix app in my LG B6 OLED. For netflix, if I'm not using the speakers and need headphones, I use wired (sennheiser).
The Sony WH-1000XM3 are excellent for ~$300 and the Backbeat Pro 2 is pretty good at ~$150. Both are over-the-ear noise cancelling with the Sony having top-of-the-line performance.

Thanks -- I probably should of been more specific and asked "How's the lip sync lag with the QC35"? I asked because I've seen moaning and groaning from QC35 owners regarding A/V usage here:

https://community.bose.com/t5/Headp...aptx-support-via-a-firmware-update/td-p/44651

and some other places. Anyways, the take from gamers is mostly straight down the line "Latency's bad!" whereas the take from TV watchers is more mixed.

I was speaking about using the QC35 and using it with those inputs to the TV.

Sony MDR-RF 7500 digital wireless headphones

Most likely you will not find these 'new' but used prices should be well within your budget.

EDIT: these are available 'new' and used on Amazon! :)
