I cant decide on which DVD player to get for my set up. I'm going to replace my onkyo DV-600 6 disc changer. What are some of the better choices. I did a search and I was starting to get gung ho on the panny rp91, but now I'm not sure. Progressive isn't really an issue since I'm using a quadscan scaler. What do you guys think ?

It would help if you provide a little more info on what is important to you.

For example:

DVD Audio, Various Media support (DVD-R/DVD-RW, DVD RAM, SVCD, etc), scaling, etc....

I own the RP91 myself - there are of course better players out there (Always the case with this hobby) - but I really enjoy the 4:3 to 16:9 conversion this thing does for all my 4:3 DVDs - which is what really drove me to this player.

For the money - I don't really think this player can be beat with all the features you get.

Thanks for responding Brian, My main concern is image quality. I'm using an external scaler so progressive/non progressive is not an issue. I'd also like to get something with good sound quality. So far my first choice is the panny rp91, I just wanted to see if anyone had any other recomendations.

Image quality is the RP 91's strong suit. I can't comment on sound quality since I use my pre/pro for that, but you won't be disappointed with the video.
