Since your speaker pair budget was around $300 in the other thread, I'd stick with a sub that would match the speaker specs. No need in getting a 1500w sub for 200w RMS speakers. The SVS SB-1000 sub I have for my 100w RMS active monitors works well and it is a small sub, which is easy to place under a computer desk. The sub has become a temporary shelf for my Logitech foot pedal module when I'm not using it. LOL

I'm using Dual JL Fathom F110s with my computer speakers, they aren't bad, but not the best either obviously. They are great for small subs.

I suspect Trace was being facetious because the OP gave so few details.
