So, I was all set to buy a Pioneer 1016. I figured, I've only got 2 hdmi inputs (SA8300HD, Oppo 981), so this will work fine. Now it seems that, since I want to hook up my MacBook pro, I will need another HDMI input. I thought I could take the DVI straight to Component, but I was way off on that and nobody on here corrected me for some reason. So, now i either have to use 2 hdmi ports on the receiver and two on the TV (which would suck), or find a receiver with 3 hdmi ins that i can send to one hdmi on the TV.


Suggestions?

They do have HDMI switch boxes which is another route you could take.

I'm wary of adding another box...more stuff for the Harmony to deal with and I'm something of a noob with all this.

Receivers with 3 (or more) HDMI inputs are not cheap.

Check out Pioneer Elite vsx-82txs and Marantz SR7001.
