Best wall mount for Epson 8350

6212 Views 11 Replies 8 Participants Last post by  newfmp3
I am running out of room on my rack and am thinking about mounting my Epson 8350 to the wall just above the rack. Anyone know of a good one that will support the weight and size of the projector? Do not have the option to ceiling mount so a wall mount will be my best option.

edit:

I found this on amazon. Think this should work?

Will work fine. Not to mention it's affordable and looks pretty good. I have one and it gets the job done.

It'll probably depend on where you live, but the free shipping arrived to me in 2 days. It quoted 7-10 days or something like that.
I bought one of those Omni shelves for my projector and it looks and works great. My wife liked it so well I even ordered a couple of more for other uses around the house.
i just ordered it for my new 8350.
Can anyone who has this give me a little help with the dimensions of this mount? I see amazon has them listed, but amazon has been known to list them wrong from time to time. The location that I thought that would be perfect to mount this was between two windows. I could not find a stud in the middle, but there was one closer to one of the windows. Does the glass stick out at all from the mounting bracket, or is it directly attached to the bracket? Some of the pictures I have seen make it look like both are true. If the glass does stick out a bit, how many inches? I may be able to clear the window if it does. Amazon says its 20" deep, but then there is a diagram that shows the glass being 16" deep. is there a 4" gap?

Once the mount is mounted, is there any way to move, raise or lower it?

I posted pics of the mount on my wall in another thread >> http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showthread.php?t=1347667

And the glass shelf does stick out quite a bit. I will measure tonight and re-post for you. Some folks may not like this but I think it is perfect for a projector as it provides cooling on all sides of the projector. And once mounted, you can NOT move, raise or lower it.

Thanks! Yeah I was thinking the same thing about the cooling aspect of the glass sticking out.

OK ... got home and measured. The actual glass shelf is 18" wide by 16" deep. And when mounted to the wall, the glass extends 5 inches from the wall.
i just got my epson 8350 i went to homedepot and built a shelf i think it came out nice.

Google peerless ppa. It can be used as either a wall mount or ceiling and has adjustable extension on it. It comes with both wall and ceiling bracket. Black, silver or white Colors.

About 60-80 bucks depending where u get it from
