I'm in the process of moving all my music over to my Vista machine, and I would like all the cover art to look great for my collection. Currently, I have all my CD's organized by artist -> album and all the mp3s/wmas in a the albums folder with the folder.jpg cover art file. I've had some poor luck with Vista or WM over-writting my folder.jpg with whatever it chooses, so I want to select my own art.


What's the best way to do this? Should I embed cover art in the music files themselves?


Can someone offer some advice. This is a real pain, and I'd like to do it right the first time. (Well, at least THIS first time).

Vista won't delete your images but it copies them to a different location and downsizes them. Try the AlbumArt utility it works great.
