I see that my chances of getting help are 50-50.

My screen rolled up so fast it flew off its mounting brackets and crashed to the floor. When it rolled up it rolled up unevenly. Unfortunately It has wrinkles on the top and bottom as well as a crease running diagonally.

Now this sounds terrible, but actually its not that bad. You only notice it in very bright scenes, or when the video is 4:3 and full screen (filling out the bottom and top of the screen).

So I could:

1. Get a hair dryer ????

2. Stretch on frame ???

3. Put pieces of paper where its wrinkled ???

Any help appreciated. I have little money left after setting this thing up and buying a projector. Most of you can relate I'm sure..

It is a dalite 1.5 gain white 96" screen. Also at my work they hang them upside down (with the heavy part at the bottom) is this a good idea ?

I've used two pieces of 3' x 1/4" rebar at either end of the bottom pull bar to flatten my matt-white screen. You might also want to try tweaking the sliver of metal that secures the screen to the bottom bar. By slightly twisting it you can put little bit o' pressure on the ends of the screen.
