I have a HTPC hooked up to my Panasonic TC-P65V10 plasma HDTV, and have configured MPC-HC to output 24p when it detects that format. However, to my disappointment, the Panasonic plasmas sold in the USA don't seem to support the UK standard 50 fps -- which is frustrating, since they sell a version of it in the UK that does 50i instead of the USA's 60i -- and since their panels have "600 Hz sub-field drive" I would think they could have made a "world panel" that supported 24/50/60 refresh rates, since 600 is an integer multiple of all three. Anyways, I'm curious if there's any way to trick the USA version into doing 25 or 50 fps. If not, what is the best way to watch 25p/50i content on a HTPC?
