Hey guys what the best way? I think I have some banding issues with my tv but want to make sure before I go and exchange it. Could you tell me a movie or maybe an easy way to test for it.

Banding on my LG shows up on light scenes. Clear pale sky, sand scenes with little contrast. If something contrasting comes into the scene I no longer notice the banding. You could try displaying lighter solid color images?

If your TV is Sharp, then just go into its service menu to test it.
