I recommend the Mits 65413 (or 65313 if you are budget concious). I haven't heard much about the 65S500, but reports were that last years 65" Hitachis could not compare to the [480p and 1080i] picture on the 65" Mits.

Best Widescreen HDTV/RPTV Under $3000
Topic title says it all. I want the the widest screen up to "65 inches that will accept HDTV programming. Does not necessarily need to be integrated. I will have a Zenith 520 HD hooked to this set and I can not receive any of the over the air HD content. ALso our cable company is a small outfit with no HD content in the foreseeable future.
Ive looked at 65" Sony, Hitachi and Mitsi and I cant decide. Please help I will be buyng on Saturday.
