Hey Folks --

What is the best wireless video sender out there (for a composite signal)? I want to watch TV off of my computer in all various rooms without having to lug the comp around. Testing with shielded RCA cables for distances over 20 feet yielded banding. I happen to have an old X10 wireless video sender that produced better results than the RCA cables. Want to know what is the absolute best (great picture quality / no interference).

Thanks,

Careful what you ask for -- "absolute best" implies no budget limitations. :)

For a wide range of options, including pro-grade gear, check out MarkerTek.

Click on Store, then Index, then Wireless Video Systems. Prices range from $100 to $2900, depending on what you're looking for. Even better, some of the gear requires an FCC license to operate legally. :)

There is only one system (I am aware of) that will do what you want without having to buy a receiver box for each TV - it broadcasts on a selectable UHF frequency. Works great for a handheld TV, too. Tuning is a bit touchy, but stable. Picture quality is very good on the small TVs I have been using. It's available for $32.99 +s/h on eBay at:
