I recently purchased a Pioneer VSX-1016 and a Orb 5.1 Mod2 speaker system. I was wondering if the FL and FR Orbs can be bi-amped. Is it just a matter of running the speaker cable from your front inputs to one orb and the rear inputs to the other orb?

Your best bet is to ask Orb. I e-mail them and usually get a good response wihin the hour. They even answered me back on sunday (I did this twice yesterday). E-mail them at "[email protected]". There is also a dedicated thread to Orb audio. It could be found in the search engine. They may help there. If I knew, I would tell you.

That's not biamping. Biamping is connecting 2 amplifiers to the same loudspeaker but each to a different set of terminals. Can the Orb accommodate this?
