i just purchased a sony str-da3400es receiver and was wondering if i can bi-amp my towers with this receiver. if so, do i hook the second set of speaker wires to the surround back hookups (set to bi-amp) or to the front B hookups (set to A+B). any help would be appreciated

yep. Look at page 107 of the owners manual. You'll also have to turn on "bi amp" in the settings.
