Might not be the best example but at least this might give someone an idea on what biased lighting looks like. Still have some finishing work to do but here's what I have so far.
If I had to do it again, I'd mount the lights behind the curtains instead of on the back of the screen, that would cut down on the amount of light that shines on the walls and ceiling without the extra construction of the curtain boxes. But this will do for now, it definately makes movie viewing easier on the eyes and actually seems to sharpen images. Definately improves the black qualities as well. Running an X1 in case anyone was wondering, at a brightness of 45.
