posting in the correct forum.

I am looking for a sub for my HT setup. These are my constraints

1. Less than $200

2. Look good (not a huge box!)

3. room size 13x15.

4. Purpose - TV/movies -60% & music 40%.

Setup: Denon receiver and Speakers infinity primus 153 or energy CB-5s (deciding between them).

I am a newbie and not (yet) a audiophile. Would a 8 or 10 inch sub be enough or should I go for 12 inch sub.

Based on earlier threads, I narrowed down to BIC f12 and BIC 1020

what is the recommendation for my purpose.

If your budget is firm then you won't find better than the BIC F12. There are another couple in the same league but nothing that stands out much in this price range. You'll likely be happy with it coming from no sub but one day you'll get the bug....and want more bass

I paused when I saw this. a F12 compared to a 10" v1020.

F12 for sure. I wonder why he did not look int the Bic F12 or BIC V1220 forum posts.

there are many comments there.....just look for older posted sections.
