"It's come to our attention we've mistakenly turned activated out-of-market CBS HD feeds for some customers who should not have received them. We will be conducting an internal audit and rectifying the situation by the end of the week." ;)

Since this is only in the rumor stage, let me join in the fun:

Any announcement of improvement of HD services would be geared toward increasing competitive advantages over E* and cable, so...

1. They have added another network's O&O stations for national HD broadcast.

2. They have added Starz HD and/or Cinemax HD.

3. (hope, Hope, HOPE!) They have accelerated HD TiVO's roll out.

or, the least likely one:

4. Ken H will be in a good mood on Feb. 18, between 9:45 and 11:20 AM EST. :)

Supposedly this afternoon.

Perhaps something like this:

With the launch of Directv 7S.....

Addition of all LA and NY HD feeds of Fox, NBC, ABC.

Addition of East and West HD Feeds of all Movie Networks.

Addition of INHD 1 and 2, Bravo HD, A&E HD, and Fox Sports HD (Atlantic, Central and Pacific), and any other HD channels that might be lurking out there.

Addition of all Premium channels available from all Premium Service Providers.

Launch of Fox Movies HD

Launch of Fox News Channel ED

That ought to make Charlie's head spin....

Or... Hi... We're selling the assets. Signing off....:D

Not for me it wouldn't... Down with Pegasus! Man would this be great for those of us under the Pegasus regime. I'm not getting my hopes up tho.

I know it would benefit many, but they need more than just the Pegasus issue to turn heads. I think pegasus is a done deal, but to make anyone's head turn they need something big. Pegasus is big, but not as big as the addition of a ton of HD and expansion of programing. My inlaws freakin' hate that Pegasus crap and are glad to be OTA in HD now.

D* did after all cancel the press conference at CES did they not? Makes ya wonder....

I can see Pegasus selling out especially since Directv got their hands on that Canadian satellite space that Pegasus was eyeing, for their own service. Now that the space is gone, Pegasus doesn't really have a future, past 2008 anyway.
