I've seen Bioshock lots of times on Steam for $5. I'd rather pay the premium to not deal with GFW.

Played it to the end and kinda gave up as it was so hard to beat at that point without being able to save so I could keep inching forward till done.

Had a great time playing the game though and probably will pick up Bioshock 2 on one of these sales soon.

Thanks for the heads up.

I use both GFWL and Steam (as well as EA Downloader). I can agree that Steam is much better to work with than GFWL but I wouldn't discount GFWL entirely if the deal is much better.

Especially if you're the kind of person who beats a game and don't pick it up again. One of the biggest disadvantage of drm for the consumers: can't sell off your games.

The game is fun, tho. I thought it was better than Bioshock 2.
