Yeah, I believe there was a thread on Reign of Fire awhile back. I'll be getting it for sure, as long as the quality is up to par. I love that movie. My Equilibrium disc from CDjapan will be arriving tomorrow as well!
It likely won't be VC1, but hoping for MPEG4-AVC w/quality at least as good as 'Equilibrium'.
Black Rain is being released here...we just haven't gotten a release date. And I'm sure it will be VC-1. It'll probably be the same transfer we'll get.

Black Rain is still not up at Amazonjp or YesAsia.
Now Under Seige is on there! It's been strongly rumored to be coming here this year though.
Maybe this has been discussed elsewhere, but i noticed that Reign of Fire shows "Region Code 2" while most of the other HD-DVDs show "Region Code 0". Is this just a carryover from the DVD description?

So with shipping the price will be around $52?!?! $40 for the disc and $12 for shipping? I guess you can get $2.50 off your first purchase but that still makes it around $50.
Maybe I missed something in all my reading... Aren't there region control issues on HD-DVD that you'll need to get around in order to play these?
Right now there is no region coding for HD DVD. I am looking forward to buying the HD DVD version of T2 from Amazon UK.
