I have searched and searched the posts here to try and find someone who has done this so it must not be acceptable for some reason (or maybe I am just missing it). Is anyone painting blackout fabric gray for a gray screen??? I have seen a number of people complaining about the unsmooth surface of canvas and how you must do multiple coats to get it right. Why not just paint a smooth surface like blackout fabric? Would uniformity be very difficult doing this?
